From whisper sings

that future call

a begging shared

lest time would halt.

Now tethered fancy

from whence took flight

left heart and hearthstone

marred from the plight.

I know not what

tis to look upon

this dance of waltzes

to a lonesome song.

Beneath the mask

becomes the liar

and if allowed

what came before.

Cry out your song

of darkness and beauty

and I will listen

to that timeless story.

Yet, truth's not known

unless spoken and named

shared with readiness

and acknowledged then.

Come quickly song

to tide my mire

and lift the faith

of the soundless brother.

Time quickly staves

which at night takes flight

the felt belief

of relinquished time.

So, glory behold

from my silent tongue

a poem of love

that yet be sung.

Behold the mirth

from 'neath the hiding

comes clearly now

to cradle in.

Now, as if looking

the sight comes clear

to a time so promised,

as if it draws near.

Though I'm not seen

I claim this stance

waiting, ready for

our sacred dance.

And then to see

what love is then

when I unmask

what lies within.
